Maxware UL Certified 7.4-Quart Aluminum Stovetop Pressure Cooker

Pressure cooking is the process of cooking food, using water or other cooking liquid, in a sealed vessel, referred to as a pressure cooker. Pressure cookers are utilized for cooking food faster than standard cooking approaches, which also conserves energy. Pressure is created at first by boiling a liquid such as water or broth inside the closed pressure cooker. The caught steam increases the internal pressure and temperature. After use, the pressure is slowly released so that the vessel can be safely opened. Pressure cooking can be utilized for fast simulation of the effects of long braising or simmering. Nearly any food which can be prepared in steam or water-based liquids can be prepared in a pressure cooker.
