battery while powering the LED light. That makes it a better deal in the long term than cheaper
cameras that need to have batteries replaced regularly.
The internal rechargeable lithium battery gets charged when the camera is in direct sunlight. This
battery powers the camera at night and on days with little or no sun. Two optional AAA batteries
can be inserted as backup in locations that get less sunlight. If the camera is used indoors 2 AAA
batteries will be needed to provide power for the flashing red light. They will need to be replaced
regularly.
The camera has a removable shield topped by solar cells and protects it from rain and sun. The
shield adjusts forward or backward. Take care when removing the shield that you don’t disconnect
the wires underneath connecting the solar cells to the internal battery. Before permanently attaching
