satisfactionin living in ones own home, and itdoesnt have to be all paid for either,in order to be enjoyed. If one has enough laid by to securea suitable building lot, it is usuallyeasy to borrow enough to put up thebuilding. Both building and lot are,of course, given as security. Then bymaking monthly payments of justabout what one would naturally payout for rent, one finds that after sixor eight years he has a valuable pieceof property to his credit, and notmerely a big bundle of rent receipts. This little home is a good designfor one to use in such a case. It is apopular style, giving just about theaccommodations that most familiesrequire, and for that reason rents wellor sells readily if it becomes neces-sary to unload it. A dwelling put up for sale shouldalways have good, stylish lines, butnot be at all freakish. This 5-roombungalow would rent for or more than the regulation 5-room cottageof plain design, yet provides all thenecessary accommodations, and providesthem well.

While this plan is strictly a bunga-low in design, there is a stairway tothe attic, and this attic will be foundconvenient at times for sleeping cotswhen the boys come to stay overSunday. The arrangement of therooms is entirely satis-factory, even for themost substantially builttown bungalow. The built-in porchafter this manner
